The intrusion of apophyses of granodiorite intrusion into the carbonate rocks of the Nayband Formation has led to the formation of marble, skarn and copper mineralization. The Khut skarn which is formed in the marble is calcic type and is divided into the garnet skarn and garnet-pyroxene skarn zones. Skarnification processes can be divided into the two distinct stages prograde and retrograde. The prograde stage is characterized by anhydrous calc-silicate minerals such as clinopyroxene and garnet. During retrograde stage, part of marble and anhydrous calc-silicates have been replaced by hydrous calc-silicates, sulfides, oxides and carbonates. The calc-silicate minerals in the Khut deposit were analayzed by electron microprobe. The comparison of chemical composition of garnet with the composition position of other calcic skarns show that the composition range of garnets in the Khut deposit is consistent with the composition range of garnet in the world's gold, iron and copper skarns. Also, the mineralogy and geochemistry of the Khut granitoid is similar to that of granitoids associated with skarn deposits. In this paper, by using petrographic and geochemical studies, the conditions of skarn formation in the Khut copper deposit is investigated. کانسار خوت در 40 کیلومتری غرب تفت در استان یزد و در کمربند ولکانوپلوتونیک ایران مرکزی واقع شده است. نفوذ زبانه‌هایی از توده گرانودیوریتی خوت به درون سنگ‌های کربناته سازند نایبند به تشکیل مرمر، اسکارن و کانه‌زایی مس منجر شده است. اسکارن خوت در مرمر تشکیل شده و از نوع کلسیک است که به دو زون گارنت اسکارن و گارنت- پیروکسن اسکارن تقسیم می‌شود. فرآیندهای اسکارن‌زایی به دو مرحله مجزای پیش‌رونده و پس‌رونده تقسیم می‌شود. مرحله پیش‌رونده توسط کانی‌های کالک‌سیلیکاته بی‌آب نظیر گارنت و پیروکسن مشخص می‌شود. در مرحله پس‌رونده بخشی از مرمر و کانی‌های کالک‌سیلیکاته بی‌آب توسط کانی‌های کالک‌سیلیکاته آبدار، سولفیدها، اکسیدها و کربنات‌ها جانشین شده است. مقایسه ترکیب شیمیایی گارنت با جایگاه ترکیبی گارنت در سایر اسکارن‌های کلسیک نشان داد که گستره ترکیبی گارنت‌های کانسار خوت، منطبق با گستره ترکیبی گارنت در اسکارن‌های مس، آهن و طلای جهانی است. همچنین کانی‌شناسی و ژئوشیمی گرانیتویید خوت مشابه گرانیتوییدهای همراه با کانسارهای اسکارن است. https://ijp.ui.ac.ir/article_16085_7a027114da5a94aa2d692371ed6c99b1.pdf
